Sri S.P.Reddy, Founder & Executive Director, Uma Educational Technical Society, (Uma Manovikasa Kendram), Kakinada has received Best NGO Award on 26th Jan 2022 on the eve of Republic Day by Shri C Hari Kiran, I.A.S.,  Collector & District Magistrate, East Godavari District in the presence of Sri Kurasala Kannababu, Hon’ble  Minister of Agriculture, Marketing  and Cooperation, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Shri M.Ravindranath Babu I.P.S. , Superintendent of Police, East Godavari District.

50 Assistive Devices (10 Tricycles, 3 Wheel Chairs, 10 Artificial Limbs, 25 Hearing Aids and 2 pair of Crutches)   distributed to differently abled persons with the support of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Government of India New Delhi, under ADIP Scheme. Sri Aditya Sharma, Chartered Accountant, Kakinada Participated as Chief guest, Dr. D Vijayalakshmi, Psychologist, Sri.P Kanaka Raju,  Sri Satyanarayana, Executive members of  Uma Educational & Technical Society. Also participated as special guests. The program was attended by Sri. S.P Reddy, Executive Director, Sri.K Narayana Reddy, Project Director, Sri.Nayudu, Principal,  Dr.N.S.R Krishna Rao, Program Director, Sri. S Srinagesh, AO, Smt. S. Uma Reddy, in charge and all staff.

               

District Disability Rehabilitation Centre implementing agency: Uma Educational and Technical Society Kakinada has distributed   25 hearing aids, 15 all-terrain imported Tricycles and 20 artificial limbs to the PwDs with the support of Department of empowerment of persons  with disabilities, ministry of social justice of empowerment, Government of India New Delhi under ADIP Scheme.

During this program Sri V Kamaraju, Assistant Director, Department of Welfare of Differently abled, Transgender and senior citizens East Godavari District as a chief Guest Dr. M Kamala Kumari, Dean CDC and Special officer MSN PG center,  Aadikavi Nannaya University  as a guest of honor and Sri P Subrahmanyam, Head CSR, Reliance Industry Ltd, Gadimoga as special invitee, Sri S.P Reddy, Executive Director of Uma Educational and Technical Society participated  and  distributed  to the needy PwDs.

Celebrated 141th Helen Keller Birthday at Deafblind State Center (UETS Kakinada) with the Support of sense International India. Sri S.P Reddy (Executive Director of UETS), Sri K Narayan Reddy (Project Director of UETS), Sri Harsha (Dbsc Project Coordinator) Deafblind Children along with Parents and staffs has Participated in the program and Distributed Hearing Aids, Canes and Dry Ration Kits to the Poor and Needy People.

Also conducted virtual mode with the Registered Organizations of National Trust in Andhra Pradesh. Sri Navanith Kumar (Deputy Director of national trust) Participated as a chief guest and addressing the participants.

         

        

Distributed Dry Ration kits to the 50 differently-abled Persons at Akuru and Vemula Konda Panchayats in Rampachodambaram Mandal with support of Andheri Trust.

       

Today we distributed Provision kit for special needs children of UMVK. Total 27 were benefited.

ORGANISED RELIEF PROGRAM - COVID-19 AT RAMPACHODAVARAM

Uma Educational & Technical Society, Kakinada has prepared 550 Ration Kits (Rice, Pulses, Cooking Oil and Other Food Items etc) worth of Rs. 1500/- each kit with the support of Andheri Hilfe Bonn, Germany through the Andheri Trust India, Trichy.

Smt. N.Dhana Lakshmi, Hon’ble MLA, Rampachodavarm distributed 25 Ration Kits to PwDs and the remaining are distributed to our staff at Rampachodavaram.
